I plan to mill the parts out of the plywood sheet with a 3mm cutter, so I made 1,5mm offsets around each part to serve as the tool paths, but I had to make some tweaks to the slot width since my material is actually 3,2mm thick. This doesn't sound like a big problem but anywhere the material is doubled, such as the keel, the 0,4mm difference would make the parts too tight to fit together. I hadn't realized this before but the part design relies heavily on the material thickness.

I laid out all the parts carefully to make best use of material and ended up with three CNC files. Getting ready to mill the first of three sheets of parts.. I will take photos and post them later tonight or tomorrow morning.
