Their is a trick we used to do with the original T-REX 450.
We would wrap some clear tape around the section where the clap was going to secure the boom.
But then again, one could beable to twist the booms and add about 5 to each and keep your copter from spinning around very slowly.

So there is a couple good and bad reason and responses for having the round booms.
I just thought I would let you know it has been talk about.
I have watched one or two of these frames being designed.
I am sure I will see many more! ( I Will OWN A 800mm SPYDER designed by Dialfonzo.)
