Is this the FMS SkyTrainer in disguise? Either way, with the spacer, or without you want to make sure that at the end of the day the motor is at 1 to 2 degrees to the right and 1 to 2 degrees down. In my FMS SkyTrainer you achieved it by connecting the motor mount straight against the firewall and putting the spacer between the mount and the firewall at the right upper corner when looking from the nose (or the pilot's upper left). It is not the end of the world if you don't do any of it, but then you would need to add quite a bit of trim in the air to account for the luck of right and down thrust angle. Good luck...
