I cast a resin copy of the aft section of the torpedo. I drilled the indents in the body of the air flask. I also added these to the aft section.

Part ready for molding. I need to get me some Legos.
While the RTV was drying I marked the air flask section for drilling.
I did not have a clamp that was large enough to hold the part so I made a jig out of ply to hold it.
Thanks to FOO I went to Harbor Freight and got a speed control for my drill press. Did a much better job.
Part set up on XY table ready to drill.
Air flask section and war head section looking good so far. Using the plans I got a better idea about the size of the slots I needed to cut.
RTV mold ready for the resin pour.
Marking the rear section. In this case I cut a hole in the center of the drawing and slid it into place for marking.
The rear section required a jig with a removable end piece. Luckily I thought of that at the very last minute.
Finished cutting all the grooves in both pieces. The next step will be details on the aft section.
