My Extra 300 v2

After flying and abusing my original Extra 300 for over a year (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...&postcount=598), I thought it was time to rebuild another with modifications. My version one suffered from fuselage twisting and the horizontal stabilizer fluttered. So I added 45 degree cut supports along the top of the fuselage and bamboo skewer supports on the top of the horizontal stabilizer. Both modifications eliminated the issues.

Version two has 45 degree cut supports along the top and bottom of the fuselage for added support. To strenghten the landing gear, I sandwiched two additional pieces of BlueCor foam (FFF) to give the fuselage additional support. The LG was also changed to a more solid design (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...45&postcount=4). Flying and landing with sturdy LG and a steerable tail wheel really enhances the flying experience of this plane. This is a "must have" for anyone's fleet!
