I did change my magnets holding the top hatch for real bigger ones and I do use now two magnets locking each other.
The two magnets in the fuselage,
The two in the hatch,
Its holding really strong now
and I do not need to screw something every time I changed the battery's.
I have made a lid in front of the cockpit what holds itself under the front cockpit opening in the fuselage,
So its locked at the front and holding with the top hatch,
Then I ad the cable cutters at the cockpit, IR etc, and the main landing gear.
The Gun will be getting a overall also, but that will be done later.
Then knowing the condense issues I have had with my airplanes when concealing a cockpit completely
I have made a hole at the top of the cockpit backplate and a hole under the middle console to let the air flow freely trough the cockpit area preventing condense at the inside of the cockpit windows when the heli is standing in the sun.
You can better do this job before you close the cockpit because the wood dust will be all over at the inside of your cockpit windows, I know, I be there years ago
but lessens learned
