The vipers had to be worked on for two reasons:
To allow desired up aileron travel to 17mm, to prevent binding in flaps
especially when returning control surface to neutral.
What I used, 80 grit sandpaper, finish with 240 grit paper, placed on an old
credit card, plastic card, to allow sanding straight lines, both in viper and end
of the wing skin separating control surface and wingskin (cutout).

Viper is sanded down to allow more up deflection for aileron, 17mm compared to 10mm as supplied from factory.
Both viper and the wingskin cutout for control surface had to be sanded to avoid binding and allow more movement.
Viper is sanded down and rounded to prevent binding in flaps. A tip, take a bit more than what seems needed. The wing may flex in air, especially when loaded with lead, making the binding occuring, even it does not in your hands in your hobbyroom.
