Pilot figures-Painting Pilot figures-Toys adapted for pilots -Show us what you got

I'm working on my second Cartoon War bird from; www.parkflyerplastics.com

The pilot figures are 2 halves that you join and then paint... I came to the realization many people just wont attempt to paint a pilot.
I am certainly no expert, but I can fake it enough for what it is!

I hate seeing a beautiful model flying with no pilot.

I usually start painting the pilot as soon as I know which one I'm going to use. Like even before I build the plane! It takes multiple coats of paint sometimes and sequences that require drying time.
If I wait till the pilot is needed it could hold up the build for several days and prompt me to rush it and not do my best.

I always use flat paints. Mostly good ole Testors enamel flats.
Good brushes are a must. I also use tooth pics for fine details.

Please feel free to share your pilot pics, even if you just upgraded an existing pilot.

Female Hottie Pilot Pics welcome
