tongue in cheek

So I sawed down a Beech tree, cut out a large chunk, and began the journey to carving a prop.

Splitting off a piece to cut down to a useful size.
There's enough here for about 4 props.
this is the second cut for width
Slicing off the first prop blank
1 prop blank,ready for the oven at 170 deg.for an hour.If it stays warp free,it'll be carved into a 16" x 4" prop for the 175% Sparky.
One blade roughed in.
The pitching has begun.
