I have been following this thread for a while and have been looking to build a wing that will fit perfectly in the trunk of my car (<41"). Last night I stumbled on this youtube video
for building a symmetrical wing. Since it is raining here today, I decided to draw up some plans using the build techniques in the video, but with the BajiWing dimensions as a rough template.
Warning: I'm no expert on aeronautical design, I have only built a few scrathbuilds and I have only been flying for a month, so keep that in mind. Also, these plans aren't 100% complete.
I made the prop slot for a 6" prop, but I also included an option for 9". The slot may or may not be deep enough into the wing to add a motor firewall. I'm also not sure how the prop slot will effect the CG location, but here is a link to the CG calculator
I have been using.
Requires 2 sheets Dollar Tree foamboard.
Wingspan = 40"
Root chord = ~12"
Tip chord = ~6"
Prop = 6-9"
Wing area (including elevons) = ~400 sq in
Winglet area (not sure what is needed) = 26 sq in x2
CG (from calc
/ not tested) = 7.62"
