Weldon is ~180 meters AGL and this site is ~ 300 meters above ASL/AGL. The Tekapo hill has the same orientation so it's for a WNW wind.
Is it worth a look?

Hope this works
I am pretty sure that site is on a farm called Terawhiti Station. I use to know one of the farmers and regularly rode my dirt bike on the farm back in the day. Now the farm is closed to the public and is covered in windmill power generators and I can not get access to the farm even through the old boys network to fly gliders or ride my bike. If you are coming to Wellington I can try again to get access just for one day.
