The first of them. In-runner motor with reduction unit. V-tail with ailerons and carried a HD Video Camera! Floats later added!
Ultralight stick 1120Kv motor. Flies excellent and very forgiving! Added to each wing making it around 62". The nose peice was used from a Seagull Dual-Ace twin airplane. Frame made of aluminum.
The "Pimp-Stick". This one was the best of all! It caught on fire on it's maiden due to the POS motor package I bought from RCTimer. I ended up putting a Monster Exceed Power15 on it. Holy S*%#, vertical unlimited. I added ailerons, extra carbon
Night flyer V-tail. Added lights, ski's and this is the only one never to get ailerons! 1120KV RCTimer with a 30A esc is my powerplant of choice when building a slow stick.
V-tail with Floats, this was the very first SS I built...
This was the start of my 'Spy in the Sky" project. Several changes were made along the way but it is the largest of the Slow Sticks and win's "Coolest" in my book! Pan and tilt unit for the HD camera, twin motors, steerable dual wheel nose
"Pimp-Stick"/"Mini-Pimpstick" and the "Night Flyer" out at the field!
This one is the "Mini-Pimp". It is about 60% the size of the blue one but has a symmetrical wing with ailerons, uses a 1120KV RCT motor and 4S batteries! It too had wheel pants and is a BULLET! I used this one to fly at my home chasing bats and
Couple of my other Sticks!
Spy in the Sky with the new wing! It was finally maidened on this day and flew great considering 20-25MPH wind gusts!
Spy in the sky after the tails were painted to match the wing.
"Rutan Stick" This one went together nicely and flies the same. The CG was the most challenging part but was all in all a fun build. 1300KV Motor, 20A esc. Has wheel pants and steerable nose gear and ailerons!
GWS makes a good slow stick, I just make em better! Hope you enjoyed the pics and do not hesitate to post pics of your design and if you have question's pertaining to the modding of any of these do not hesitate to ask and I will help!
