Well, I suppose it is possible and maybe even simpler for the end user, but I don't really have interest in doing that. My motivation in doing this is learning about electronics and the process of designing and building circuits, not flying the SoloPro with a 9x. I am perfectly happy flying my SoloPro with the stock TX. Doing it by directly soldering it into the 9x case and patching the er9x code would require digging through other's people source code and that is something I do for work, and is not what I consider fun.
Also, that would be a solution only to the people who have a 9x. What I want to do will be good for anyone who has a JR module based TX.
