Don't know Highflier. I think a lot of people worry too much about wing strength (totally a personal opinion). I mean sure you want it to have continuity through the structure but how hard do you actually need to launch? If you get into doing wild aerobatics or want to come screaming down from a thermal maybe but............I haven't broken a wing in ages and I get comments about my launch height. I wonder if we wil hit a point where technique comes back into play? I guess it's just me but I cringe watching guys stall winches or have to do that deeeep zoom at the top. It's fun if that's what you want to do, but............never mind, I've said too much already.

OK, one last thing (and Ray Hayes please comment), Were we breaking that many wings back in the 70's/80's trying to get long flights, or is my memory shot?
