It can be a little bit trickier to start the engine and get the fuel flowing. But basically you get to run it at or near peak RPMs the whole flight.
some guys were boring out the intake venturi a little more as the engine doesn't need to suck fuel from the tank anymore too. But forget now about how far they go doing it though.
