Got a lot of work done today. Mounted a few lights, and did a lot of painting. Pics are below.

Front of fuse masked off, ready to be painted.
Rear of fuse. This was much easier since there's no windows.
The wooden parts, painted and ready for installation.
This is the horizontal stab.
Light kit (included), ready to be installed.
They called for a 15/64 drill bit, which I have, but it's rather large and you can see there's no much room for error. I drilled a pilot hole first then enlarged it with the 15/64 bit. It worked perfectly.
I enlarged the hole so I can pass the wires through and they can all be internal.
The right/green light installed.
Red/left light installed.
Lit up - nice!
The red pulsing light installed in the tail fin.
Closeup. Used the same strategy with the drill bit here.
Hot-glued the wires inside so they don't flop around and get caught in the tail mechanics.
Lit up - sweet!
Missiles painted flat black. The paint ran pretty bad on one so I'll have to fix before mounting them.
The fuselage painted. I was worried about overspray (and still got a little on the outside, even though I was careful) so I'll touch up the edges with a brush.
The two halves painted. One light coat is sufficient.
