The insurers of the UAV Challenge are now in a position to obtain quotes for the event only cover and the annual development and event cover. In past years the event only cover has been half the cost of the annual cover + event cover. The insurers need to know roughly how many teams will require both types of insurance in order to obtain quotes. The UAV Challenge organisers will be in touch with all teams in the next few days asking if teams require insurance and if so, of which type.
