The right thrust built into the backbone is very slight, but I assure you it is there. The front surface that the motor mount "wheel" is glued onto is slightly angled to the right as you look down from above. The other difference that you get by flipping the backbone upside down is that the horizontal stab will end up just slightly lower down than the correct position. Again, this is not a huge difference, but I figure it makes sense to build the plane the way the designer intended.
