What really got me think about a different motor is just the sheer size of the 2810-11 - it's a big fat motor that weighs almost 3oz.

BP hobbies ships fast too, so I've already received the BP A2810-11. As it turns out, I have another model with a 2217-9 and that is exactly the motor I'm thinking of using on the Stearman - glad to see that someone has already done similar. In fact, I'm going to swap the 2217-9 out for the 2810-11 on the other model - an e-converted .15 glow model, so I will be testing that one later today.
