Golden Age Air Museum RC Meet
It's that time of year again, Time for the Golden Age Air Museum RC meet! As many of you know we have recently completed and flown a very original Fokker Dr.1 powered with an 80HP LeRhone Rotary also a Curtiss Jenny and as a teaser weather permitting you will have opportunity to see ithem fly!
The meet occurs Sept. 30th thru Oct 2nd, so all you have to do is head east from Dayton!
Details are available at www.goldenageair.org
on the event calendar page.
THE GAAM Meet allows any scale airplane Civilian or Military from the from Pioneer Era through 1941. Racing airplanes, WW1 birds, Civilian airplanes all encouraged! So If the prototype flew prior to or during 1941 it is eligible. While this is not considered a "Heavy Metal" Warbird meet, as long as the prototype flew Prior to 1941 they are definitely not discouraged. (I'll have my TF P-40 and Corsair there)
As A teaser I've re-posted some of the airplane photos here
