It comes with a block of foam specifically for that, as well as a tether. These guys really seem to have it all covered on this one.

I was out flying again this morning, plonked it harder than I should have and by all rights should have pulled off one of the tip floats. No joy for Murphy today, as it came home intact and looking sharp. I can tell you from experience that it takes a lot more than a bouncy landing to pop the hatch.

You will have to like building a lot to pass up this one. I was ready for the lake in well under 10 hours.
