From there I needed to figure out how to protect my little caseless camera. In the tradition of Art's original "do it on a low budget"... I used scrap balsa, depron, Q-tips and glue

I've never used depron until today, but I really liked working with it.
I've been stumbling around in my mind forever trying to figure out a non-metallic method to secure the camera to my mocked up case... Qtips to the rescue!
I little CA and my 'posts were ready. They are a tight fit for the camera mounting holes, so no glue needed there. Just four more drops in to the back plane and it's all sealed up.
