Hey Ben,

No real mods yet, though I did soak the wood aileron horns in thin CA on both sides to strengthen them a bit and hopefully reduce wear over time. I'll be hand launching this plane and harrier landing it, so the landing gear will be fine for my needs . If you're gonna actually roll around on the ground using the landing gear then I'd suggest a CF rod cross brace tied on with cotton and soaked in thin CA to stop the legs sagging over time. I've done that on a few planes and it works well, though you could add that down the track.

EDIT: I'm still slowly working on my MXS. The kit arrived when I was partway through building a Goldwing Raven 49" balsa plane kit that I bought from This photo gives you guys an idea of how cramped my build room currently is due to having 2 large planes under build right now.
