Well, I dont know if what you are describing has been made, but I like the idea...
Alternatively I would think that an arduino solution to measure and visualize vibrations with a cheapo accel breakout like a BMA020 would be a very useful tool for us coding-impaired geezers...
Especially if it was small enough to be mounted on a copter and could log vibration during flight!
Accels have been used by several ppl to measure vibration from different motor/prop combos. Rustys motor test rig is a nice example:
