The good news about these foam planes is that if the battery compartment is too small, you can cut out the foam. My son had a Super Cub and I did this to fit in 30C batteries, though I needed to use a dremel no the plastic. If the weight of the battery is too different, though, and needs to be repositioned significantly to keep your CG, that could be a real issue. The picture makes me think there's room to move forward for lighter batteries.
