Aurora A9 - Firmware Update V1.07 Details, Observations, FAQ & Video update 14Jul10.

HPP-22 V1.04 update instructs that V1.03 must be uninstalled before loading the new version.
1. If using WinXP or similar, go > Start>Programs>Hitecrcd>HPP-22> "HPP-22 Uninstall".
2. Hitec Programmers - Download Station for HPP-22 download and install V1.04.
3. Copy text which outlines all changes is attached.
This includes new OPTIMA 7/9 Fail-Safe setup function: Now you can adjust fail-safe function of Optima 7 & 9 receivers through HPP-22. Refer fail safe screen shots attached.
Any brand of servo with a 1.5ms neutral position can be used, includes any prior or current Hitec manufactured Servo.

3. Optima 9 - if a "hang up" occurs during upgrade or RX not recognised -very rare. Software updates for the 7ch & 9ch receiver relate solely to the add on telemetry sensor station. If an HTS-SS is not being used, then there is no need to update any of the Optima transceivers. (battery status software remains unchanged).

4. Aurora 9 - Firmware Update V1.07(2) 30Nov10 - "fixed a couple bugs
including incorrect speed and altitude readings in the imperial setting".

[NB: After updating to V1.07(2), user cannot revert to V1.07(1) but can still switch V1.06<>V1.07(2)]
