Using Older FMA Adapters with PL8

Hi:

I see there is some confusion about using older FMA Adapters with the PL8. We tried to make things backwards compatible to the maximum extent.

1) The PL8 basic adapter that ships with every charger supports any REVOLECTRIX battery pack sold now or in the past.

2) Yes, you can use any Cellpro 4s adapter by plugging the 5 pin connector of the old adapter into the 5p (4s labeled) port of the PL8 basic adapter. This supports 2s-4s.

3) Yes, you can use any Cellpro 10s adapter by plugging the first 6 pin connector (the one not marked "for 6s only") of the old adapter into the 6p (5s labled) port of the PL8 basic adapter. This supports 2s-5s.

4) No, you can not plug the 2nd pigtail (the one labeled "for 6s only") of the old Cellpro 10s adapters into the PL8 basic adapter. The PL8 can not support charging a 6s battery pack using the old Cellpro 10s adapters. These adapters can also be modified by removing both 6 pin pigtails, replacing it with one of the new 9 pin PL8 battery pigtails, and moving the 0 ohm resistor on the PCB to a new location RJ2. See attached for details.
