Here is some pictures of my first Springer. The superstructure is inspired by a ferry the family use to get out to my family-in-laws summer house. My two daughters (2 and 4 years) are helping me with painting and some design issues, and they are now pushing me on making windows, crane, lifeboats and the other stuff that's missing.
The lakes in the area are still frozen, so we took the first trials at the sea. This was done on Saturday and everything worked fine until the batteries went out a little to early. It is still snow on the beach, but i had no choice but take of my clothes and go for a swim. The air temperature was around 0 (Celsius) and water temp around 7.
Pretty cold, but the crowd on the beach had great fun.
During the Easter holidays we are going to the summer house, and the Springer is coming to so it can meet the original ferry. Hopefully we get some good pictures of them together.
