I've been doing some experimenting with the thrust angle on my full size Seadart after seeing your video. I found that adding 2mm (0.08") washers under the bottom two engine mounting points really improves the handling. This is about 3º change in thrust angle and requires the engine slot to be opened up very slightly. It makes no difference to the up trim required though.
I'd recommend this mod to anyone getting ready to maiden. (Remember to scale down the washer thickness for the smaller planes and you might need to experiment a bit to get it dialled in).
The THRUST ANGLE and SKI RAISE modifications are not required for the V2 plans
