No matter what we do, it's safer and cheaper than R/C flying. I'm going on the fourth season of sailing - haven't crashed and burned yet - and Syren is in excellent shape with many years left in her. I just looked at an R/C WW1 plane and it would be over $1000 with brushless motor, LiPo's, etc etc. to get the finished model in the air. And the guys in the hobby shop said there are two kinds of pilots - those that have crashed expensive planes and liars....so I'm sticking with Syren.
