Hi hyperdyne,

If you place something that's thermally insulating (like a cloth or similar) between the table and the sensor, and if you power the sensor for a couple of minutes then restart it, do you still see that much reading variation? also, are you seeing the variation over more than a few minutes? if so, barometric pressure may be actually changing.

Yes, the change in pressure detected by the speed sensor is much greater than by the altimeter.
