Best Brushless Motor For Your Money ?
Scorpion? Pulso? Axi?
I've been really digging Pulso since this fall. I've always liked Axi, but when it comes to the "for your money" part of the question the axi is like twice the price.
I've been doing some comparison shopping for 2212/26. Hobby Lobby has the axi gold for 79.90, +14.99 for the prop adapter and mount totaling $94.89.

I haven't tried scorpion yet, but it gets great reviews and costs about half the price 40.99 for 2212/26 with mount & prop adap at innov8tive Designs.

Pulso I have tried and I think they're great. Also about half the price of the Axi, the pulso 2212/26 is $44 with mount & prop adapt at Monto RC

I think when you dig deep into reviews of these motors each has attributes superior to the others. Axi always performs well, (and has for me) but for me its not worth twice the price.
Based on my experiences the value to performance ratio is there for Pulso. I highly recomend it for any plane you want to keep.
Now if you have an experimental throw away scratch build, a $12 HK motor is the way to go.
If I try out a scorpion this spring I'll give an update.
