2.4 conversion - Ceres
The Ceres was a pretty straight forward conversion.
I used a Spektrum AR9300 which has two integral carbon receivers and an additional tail-mounted carbon receiver.
The main reason I have not wanted to make the conversion to 2.4 is the hideous looking "whiskers" that must protrude out of the fuse... I decided to make mine retractable so that I could at least stomach the look of the model when sitting here at home.

Foward install will include two external whiskers.
The AR9300 is mounted in the usual position. I have adhesive velcro on the 2/3 Sub-C cells for securing the antennae.
At the start of each flight session the antennae will be shoved through their exit holes.
Then the second half of the velcro is affixed to anchor the antennae for the day.
Done deal; ugly, but it has been proven to work by many.
