With the 3rd plank on the starboard side now fitted and nailed, time has come to check progress against the plan. With the best will in the world each plank is going to vary slightly so the 1/4 point, also the point where the planking at the stem has turned the corner it is worth re-dividing the key stations. Stem, stern and midships.
I am planking port, starboard, starboard port and so on this ensure I do not build a banana boat which is starboard tack biased.

The progress seems so slow this sixth plank went in in about 3 hours by the time it is nailed up. Roughly 480 nails so far
The stem divided up for the remaing planks
Midship spacing. The dark spot on each of the nails where I have tacked them down with cyno. Drilling and nailing adjacent nails has meant that some nails were beginning to work and raise their heads. Cyno keeps them in place
