4 ply seams! Hold tension on the cotton. The pin into the station former aligns the cotton. Roll or unroll the cotton to adjust it's diameter.
A thin decorators blade gets modified with an Arc and can be thinned down to suit the seam width
Rock and slide the blade along the seam for simple immitation Caulking, easy!
If you need a second hand, put a drop loop clove hitch onto the pin to keep the tension. A drop loop clove hitch is simply two identical loops dropped over a mooring post. Pull the pin out and the Hitch disappears
A little deep perhaps but a bit of practice and beveling the rest of the joints will help with that. Notice also I have learned not to use the drill chuck as a depth guage. No more half moons.
