Perhaps a little known fact about ailerons on full size aircraft.

It's the ailerons that turn the plane, the rudder is used to cancel the plane's tendancy to yaw toward the higher wing.

I would think this would hold true for R/C planes as well. But I have flown R/E and A/E planes and they both turn just fine.
