One thing to watch for- climbing out takes a lot of driveline torque, so design accordingly. I use a 50:1 drive unit with a Speed 400 in place of the stock MFA Como motor, and I can't keep the cog belt from jumping in this maneuver. If I could fit them in, I'd use cogs of twice the diameter to reduce the belt tension for the same torque.

Also would be neat to have authentic bar tread tires... these airplane tires have no grab. No one makes them though. I can't climb out on a beach, but I can at the local pool, where they have a shallow pebbly concrete ramp in the kiddy pool...
