Unlimited aerobatic flying gets up to 9 Gs, or even above. You can imagine what that is like.
A private pilot's license is all you need to legally fly aerobatics. There is no special "aerobatic" certification, but, obviously, competent instruction is a must if you want to go that route.
If you want to fly, don't wait. Life is short!
I always think life is short to and then I see my 93yr old grandpa and see his and my grandma's $3500 a month bill for the retirement home . Ouch .
I'm going to start getting in better shape this winter and see what my body can take in the spring . I always thought I was too old for this (40) but them I started seeing how old some redbull racers are . Wagstaffs no spring chicken either . I think a guy in Roseville,Ca. has a Pitts s2b he gives rides in . Have you tried one of those G suits out yet ?
