The 185 is a very high quality non digital servo, and from my experience is less likely to oscillate than the DSP60s.
The 185s and 188s have a standard JR style plug and won't fit the AR6300 (micro JST) without an adapter. The 185/188s work with the 6110 and 6100 RXs.
Now...back to the MX2.
Although they don't fit without an adapter, you can also cut the lead, and solder the little white JST plugs onto them (however, I'm sure this voids the warranty).
