1. Antenna length is USUALLY 39" overall length. It should be 22 gauge
wire with about
15+ strands. If it is a HiTec, I would suggest sending it back to the
factory.

2. First, make sure the pushrods are set as close in as possible at the
servo and as far out as possible at the control horn on the control
surface. If this does not reduce the throws enough, look in your manual
for the transmitter under DUAL RATES. This USUALLY allows you to set a
high and low rate of throw (a percentage of what you presently have).
