Somewhere between $50 and $100 AUD, that's the best I can come up with for now, the worst costs are going to be the casing and the LCD panels.

Any thoughts on comparing your values to those obtained from chargers that measure IR? Would be a good selling point if your measuring produced comparable values to say, the cellpro charger.
I'd hope that the IRM would tend to be closer to the 'true' values Actually for chargers it's a bit tricky because they have to deal with the resistance of the charge leads (though this can be side-stepped by comparing the voltage from the charger and the voltage of the top-cell via the balance plug, the difference will be most probably due to the lead resistance). Certainly I'll be calibrating this unit against existing well known standards, no point selling a product to create more meaningless standards
