Bill Hempel 50% Clipped Wing Cub Flown by Jason Shulman
Shot at Roar and Soar 2008 in Lakeland, Fl at Fantasy of Flight. Jason's having some fun with a 50% Clipped Wing Cub powered by a DA170. Even slightly underpowerd it still comes off the runway in about 1/2 of a wheel revolution. Sorry for the shoddy camera work, I was trying not to laugh at the announcer who kept saying " The plane really doesn't want to fly like this, and this is a really dangerous maneuver", etc. The inverted harrier near the end is a riot. Thanks for the demo Jason. :cool: And thanks to Kermit Weeks and FOF for another great show!
