Partly successful Seawind Maiden flight

Well, I got in the first flight today, just one flight in fairly breezy conditions. Take off was not much problem, but I couldn't get down the altitude and speed over the lake to land and after three or four attempts decided to do a grass landing. You can see in the video that it was not too bad but the bounce was enough to rip the wooden motor mount from the polystyrene body (see photo). So, that was the end of flying for the day. Came home and glued it back on (seems as though there wasn't really much glue in on the firewall of the mount originally). Noticed that flying without much dihedral is fairly hairy too, must dial in a bit more exponential into my tx to try and tame that a bit. Otherwise, good fun and looking forward to a calmer day to do a water landing.

Video here.
