Baf Yak Cg

The BAF YAK's typically come in tail heavy. Thus, the need to keep the servos up forward. We often cut one of the firewall supports out to get the battery further forward. The CG location on the BAF 48" YAK is about 1/4" behind the spar.

This is not the case with the Juka, you need to put the servos further back to make CG. The CG on the Juka ends up about 1-1 1/4" behind the spar. As you mentioned, when further aft makes for a cleaner, less sloppy linkage.

The final location of the servos really depends on the size of motor and battery you are using.
