I'll have you do some printing this spring. I've done some preliminary drawings now,.. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=960090 ,.... waiting for better documentation to arrive before I go any further. Due to other commitments, I have a period of no building/drawing January thru February. But after that I'll be hot and heavy. It'll be .dwg format, 36 x ~70",... a couple sheets, shipping folded is good for me.

This is a good deal for me. Printing .dwg files locally here is expensive.

Can you do from a *.PLT file from Autocad I believe?
2' x 4' but will have to look it up again.

If so, I would like a couple please.

Fred: Whenever you're ready, just drop me an email at plansplotter@yahoo.com

Jared: Yes, I can print from *.PLT files. I can print you as many as you need & PM sent

Come to think of it, I may have you print out a sheet just for size check so I can get an idea what this things going to look like,.. then I can comfortably go on drawing knowing what I'm dealing with. Look for an email with a .dwg attachment sent to plansplotter@yahoo.com

Sweet! I'm glad to see this service offered. I'll be in touch later this winter!

Thread subscribed to.

Do you ship rolled or folded?

Fred: got the file, I'll send you a quote in a few.

Mike: I ship either way, whichever your prefer. Folded is cheaper as they can go First Class. Since your only a couple zones away from me, Priority is fairly inexpensive, even for multiple sets of plans. A two pound tube would only be $5.05. It only gets expensive when I'm shipping to California.

Hemi: That's perfect. You will have a new customer. (Me!) ;)

I've got orders in for printing 3 different .dwg CAD drawings of models I've drawn up recently (5 large sheets). I'm glad you are happy with the work. This is exactly the service I needed. Good idea HemiKiller.

#14 jcstalls Dec 19, 2008 02:41 PM

And, mine was from a *.plt file.

Most places I asked around did not even know what that was!

I ordered and paid for folded as I will not be building the full ship right off the plans sans the elevator and rudder.

Jared, Thanks for the props, I strive for the best quality prints possible. BTW, I can't believe you received them already. USPS really was really on the ball for that packet, three days from my hand to your mailbox, unbelievable.

Fred, If USPS would ever decide to deliver your MO, I could get yours out. Funny how letters take so long, yet a packet of plans gets from CT to WA in three days....
