She's beautiful...I wish I was close enough to come and get her...what's her name?

I served as a Gunner on the AE-29 USS Mount Hood...she did a little of everything.

USS MOUNT HOOD had 2 refrigerators for ships stores (RAS), 7 replenishment stations for (CONREP), 7 100,000 gallon fuel tanks ( 2,500 tons) and a 60,000 cubic feet cargo area able to hold 6,000 tons of munitions.

I would love to have that, but alas i do not have a grand not doing anything! LOL. It would be sweet however. Did you build that from scratch? Or was there some kind of kit?

PM sent Bassman...I also and thinking of selling my 1/96 Iowa, that has all running gear installed, with removable rudders, brass 16" and more.

5 more photos added. What I think this ship needs is new photo etched rails on about half the ship and a new paint job. Bow thruster motor is frozen but I run her fine without it, if someone wants to repair..there is plenty of room to work on her inside.

This looks like Butch Plake's Cimarron model that was built on a container ship Sarita hull....

Yes I think this "B" the one, I thought it was on a SSY hull. Still up for trade, or sale.

Thought it looked familiar, good luck on the sale, it's a one of a kind model, wish I had the dough....
