Cool, I wonder how much it will cost to ship a t-shirt to the UK?

#3 Conehead Jul 03, 2008 03:06 PM

It is only money. Shouldn't be too expensive.

That is so cool, man!!!! I am gonna get a t-shirt on the way ASAP.

The guys at Castle Rock...and your no slouch either, for getting it all organized.

You guys have fun with the trucks and keep yourselves safe.

Be sure and let us here at the groups know if there is anything we can help with!

BTW, did you ever figure out anything for pushrods other than paper clips?......

#5 lmopar69 Jul 03, 2008 08:17 PM

Thanks guys. Spread the word on the T-shirts if you would. Let all your buddies know. Lets see just how many of these things we can get sold. Its such a good cause, that no one should have any issues with pickin up one or two.

Between my wife and I, we have already ordered 6 of them! Im sure we'll get more eventually. I think they did a great job on the graphics for them too. Really cool lookin.

As for pushrods, nope, nothin else. Still have the paper clips on there. Its all good, Im sure it will work!

Keep spreadin the word guys. Any time I can help out other soldiers or their families Im happy.

Would think donating UAV's to the war effort would be more practical. They can be made roughly as cheaply as RC aircraft, U can use them as RC toys in the off hours & they can save your life in the on hours.

As good as that sounds Jack, its not very practical for a few reasons. There is the type of jamming devices we have, the terrain here, training of individuals using them, spare parts, just to name a few. On top of those, imagine if "the bad guys" got ahold of one or more of those type of "UAV's" It would be pretty easy for them to figure it out and use them against us.

Good idea, but its just not practical for the situations we end up in. Of course, this is just my opinion.

There are a few "normal rc" type things that are used over here however. Just not many.

So, for now, we will just have fun when we have a bit of off time. Its great to have a way to just unwind and forget about all the other crap. Even if its just for 30 min or so. Again, HUGE thank you to all that made this happen for us!

Ummmm.....I am pretty sure the Army already has a MOS for UAV's. I don't think they, the people who have that job or the Army, would like it if just anyone started trying to do that job. Just my thoughts, but hey what do I know.

lol, yeah, that was Jonny Rocket (as we call him). He used to be a producer type guy. Now, he's a UH 60 pilot. Go figure! He is also and exceptional artist. Very good at what he does.

He, apparently, does NOT posess the skill of "getting the heck out of the way!" though. He got smacked a couple times in that video. It was fun making it I can tell you that.
