HUGE 6mm F-5 hand cut kit....any interest?

guys, im considering making a small run of kits of my 70" long F-5 for twin 70mm. if it came with cores, ducts, canopy and pre cut fuse parts and stuff, minus hardware(not much to get) or maybe with hardware...would people be willing to pay 400-500$ for the kit? plus shipping?

So tempting Brent. I would but I just don't have the room. I'll keep an eye on the thread to see how it goes.

IMHO You should at least include pictures or a link to your last build.

Yup, post the video of your old F-5E v.1
so we could enjoy for now...
Your $500 F-5E V.2 should be much better than
this Starmax F-5E in this video; for it is at least
double the price of the starmax.

Enjoy Starmax F-5E video here.

well, this one will be meant to be a 800-1200W per fan model. glassed, and probably about 120-125MPH on 2KW. ill need to really look into suplies, and find somebody to make some cores for me. it would include everything minus some pushrods and little stuff, but all the needed parts to make the basic airframe, including C/F rods, ply parts, all foam would be pre cut. clear canopy, and inlet ducting from F/G. it should be around 500$ or so, but i need to look into it more before i can commit to anything. and i would need atleast 4 guys willing to put 150$ down to get things started. more to follow. when i get home, ill post pics and links to video.

heres some pics of the "MKI" F-5.... :D ill post links to vids too.

hold off on the paypal. i need to make a few phone calls, and get a idea on the cores first. ive got a good idea on the rest already. i might mave "M.A.R" take care of the cores, they have a CNC hot wire setup. and Orlando and Eric are about the 2 best guys you could possibly work with. but i need to get a price from them first, after that, ill start taking orders. :) but 500$ is about what its going to take i think to make it worth the work involved.

the F-5 is in both friday and saturday vids, in a couple spots i think.

Brent,

Looking forward to helping out. We are pretty much ready to go.

Our CNC machine can cut out pretty much cut everything from depron pieces to foam core wings, vertical stabs, turtle decks and horizontal stabs.
Well, just about everything!

looking forward to work with you........

PM sent

How about using only one single
tamjet 100mm fan (3800-4000 watts  )
for much better eflux and thrust.

One fan is much simpler set up and performs
much better than two fans.

enjoy this better performance of
the stock power starmax F-5E. Now imagine with better power ;)

tams fan wont fit. too tall. its would be like trying to put a 90mm in a HL F-5. its just tall enough to fit the 70's.
