TT36 pro heli engine

Gday all

Ive got a TT36pro Heli engine. Its brand new and I have noticed through the
exhaust port that the top of the piston appears to have a groove going
around it. Its about 2mm from the top of the piston. Is this normal??

Regards

Robbo....

Are you saying there is no piston ring in the groove?

Re: TT36 pro heli engine

Yes, No ring in the groove.

I spoke today to the hobby shop owner about it and he reckons its got the
groove to increase lubrication for the heli engine and thats its normal for
that engine.

Robbo.
