Start the motor/ engine, set the plane in the water headed into the wind and start advancing the throttle while holding full up. When you start gaining a little speed you start letting of the elevator a little to let the plane get up on the step - let it gain a little more speed and feed in just a bit more up elevator and you should be flying --- we hope. PRACTICE makes perfect !!! GOOD LUCK !!! ENJOY !!! RED

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

The thing that makes a plane fly is...........

$$$$$ MONEY $$$$$

But once you've spent the bucks, hold full up, goose the throttle, relax the elevator when it pops up on step, let it gain a little speed, them eeeeease back on the elevator to lift off.
